Zentangle™- A Relaxing Meditative Drawing Method

“Anything is possible one stroke at a time…”™

Tangling involves making short strokes with a simple black pen on on paper tiles. These short, easy to learn strokes evolve into beautiful artwork. Zentangle enables you to become mindful, present and focused as you draw. No drawing or art experience is necessary. With Zentangle, everyone is an artist. Though the Zentangle method ends with a piece of art, the focus is on the process not the product. You will learn many tangle patterns and explore interesting effects such as using black paper with white and metallic pen and pencil. As the session progresses, we will build on our increasing repertoire of techniques and tangles and experiment with adding color. Anyone can tangle! We will spend the last part of each class incorporating Zentangle with meditative breathing and drawing. Join our welcoming and supportive community as you discover this new and exciting art form that you will enjoy for a lifetime.
