Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist path to recovering from addiction. This community uses the practices of mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity to heal the pain and suffering that addiction has caused in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. They follow a path of practice called the Four Truths of Refuge Recovery, a Buddhist-oriented path to recovery from addictions. It has proven successful with addicts and alcoholics who have committed to the Buddhist path of meditation, generosity, kindness, and renunciation. Harnessing the power of the Buddha’s teachings, the people of Refuge Recovery believe all beings have the power to free themselves from suffering, including that of addiction. Sundays at 7 p.m.
